Inter Forced to Change Paramount+ Logo for Champions League

Inter Forced to Change Paramount+ Logo for Champions League

Inter Milan are wearing a different Paramount+ logo on their away kit for the Champions League match against Salzburg. We will find out why.

Inter Must Use Same Paramount+ Logo Across All Kits in UEFA Competitions

As opposed to the simple text Paramount+ logo, the kit now sports the complete Paramount+ logo. The reason behind this change was due to the rules established by UEFA which requires every team to use the same sponsor logo on their kit during European matches.

Inter use the entire Paramount+ logo on their third and home kits, however they’ve chosen the solely text Paramount+ logo on their away kit. The logo with only text is more in line with the overall design of their kit which features space that resembles the horizontal logo. This space exists because Nike created and developed the kit with the idea that Digitalbits was likely to have the sponsorship, however the deal was canceled due to unsuccessful payments.

According to Article 31.03 in the officially-approved UEFA rules on sponsorship any change to the contents of sponsor advertisements will be considered an alteration in sponsor, regardless of whether the sponsorship stays the same.
